Cinnamon Hill Golf Course
Spanning 400 lush acres between the verdant Jamaican Mountains and stunning Caribbean Sea, this Par 71, 6,637-yard Championship layout was designed by Robert Von Hagge. Created with the skilled resort player in mind, it features a seductive layout with an open, wind-swept front nine featuring two holes that beautifully border the Caribbean Sea. The well-guarded back nine features strategically placed fairway bunkers, lining mountain-side holes bordered by dense foliage. If some guidance or instruction is needed, Cinnamon Hill’s famous caddies – listed among “The Best in the World” by THE GOLFER magazine are present to assist you.
Half Moon Golf Course was designed by World Renowned architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and opened in 1962. The course was later modernized by Roger Rulewich, who removed non-native trees, expanded several greens and renovated bunkers, creating a masterpiece of sheer beauty and game-raising challenges. Routed through a retired sugarcane estate, the course hugs the toe of the slopes of the hills overlooking Half Moon. It’s a bow-ties classic layout with multiple sets of tees, well-bunkered greens – contoured to accommodate surface drainage and an overall length of 5,035-7,120 yards.

The Jamaica Invitational Pro-Am format is a TEAM Event using a one (1) best ball gross score added to a one (1) best ball net score per hole. The team may not use the same ball for both scores. The two best scores from the 4 person team playing off 80% of their handicaps to a maximum for men of 24 strokes and 24 strokes for women will be utilized per hole to determine the hole by hole best net ball score. The total number of strokes per hole over 18 holes will be considered the team score for that round of golf.
The event consists of 3 tournament rounds played over two golf courses. USGA and RCGA rules of golf apply.
All amateur players need to provide a valid handicap card or GHIN # prior to the beginning to the event. Any amateur that cannot provide a valid handicap card or GHIN # have to play off scratch. A Tournament Committee consisting of 4 participating golf professionals decides on any rules issues during the event and their decision will be considered final.
Practice rounds are available on a limited basis. It is the players’ responsibility to secure their own tee times. The practice round green fees are NOT INCLUDED in the entry fee. Please call the course directly to make your practice round tee time.
