TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The Jamaica Invitational Pro-Am format is a 54-hole TEAM Event using a multi-ball, gross and net scoring system.

For all Tournament Rounds – team scoring will be based on one (1) best ball gross score + (1) best ball net score per hole for the first 36 holes of tournament play. The team may not use the same ball for gross and net scores.

Each team will play one round on White Witch and Cinnamon Hill courses for the first 36 holes. The final golf course rotation will be determined based on the number of confirmed teams in the field and conditions of each course.

After Round 2, the field will be cut in half. The top half of the field will be grouped into flights A & B and play White Witch. Flights A & B will compete for the Overall Team Championship and Winner and Runners-Up flight awards. The bottom half of the field will be grouped into flights C & D and play Half Moon. Flights C & D will also compete for Winner and Runners-Up flight awards. All flights will start a new Challenge Round Tournament for the third day of play, based on 18-hole scoring only, using the (1) best ball gross score + (1) best ball net scoring format.

Ties will be broken using the USGA format for scorecard playoffs in shotgun start tournaments.

All amateur players must have an active GHIN # or a handicap index verified by a PGA Professional or third party handicap platform prior to the start of tournament play. Any amateur that cannot provide a verifiable handicap index which is accepted by the Tournament Committee, will play at scratch. For all players with a verified handicap index, 80% of their adjusted course handicap will be used for tournament play.

The tournament shall be governed by USGA rules. Local rules will be stipulated by the Tournament Committee as necessary and noted on the daily rules sheet distributed to all players.

The Tournament Committee shall consist of the TGC Tournament Director, TGC Tournament Manager, and Head Golf Professional at each course in the tournament rotation. The Committee will provide decisions on any rule, policy or handicap adjustment issues during the event and their decision shall be considered final.

PAR 3 TEAM SHOOTOUT

This tournament-within-the-tournament is open to all participating teams over the first 36 holes. Scoring will be based on a team’s one (1) best ball gross score + one (1) best ball net score on each par three hole. Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 teams with the lowest team scores at the final night Awards Ceremony.

- Ties will be broken using the follow criteria:
